The Shade Tree and Accessories

The Shade Tree and Accessories is a local lamp and shade shop at 3033 Fountain View Dr, a short drive from the Galleria and Tanglewood. Beyond lampshades, finials and accessories, the shop handles lamp repair in Houston, including lamp conversions and fixes for antique, floor and torchiere lamps.

Shoppers praise the expert, helpful staff, with several reviewers naming Moses and Sheila for their skill and courtesy. One customer brought in two antique lamps and left thrilled, while another had a separate lamp fixed on the spot while picking out a new shade. Reviewers describe it as a great stop for shades, lamps and repair work, and note that the Fountainview store is the original location. Hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 AM to 5:30 PM.
